i have been playing alot of chess lately. and last night i went to try out a new sushi restraunt (Kobe Japanese Steak House) in san marcos, for their grand opening… turned out it wasn’t open yet, but i got to meet the owner. he showed me around and gave me a menu… and then i noticed that they had been playing a chess-like game. it was “xiangqi“. they gave me a quick overview and it really looks cool (but complicated). think i will look into trying to learn more about it.

Markita just finished renewing her Advanced EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatch) certification. She is such a strong person to be able to help people out in times of tragedy. That would be so tough to deal with the calls about the childern.
Hunter and I found a small wolf spider in the new house last night. We sat and watched it for the longest time. And he talked to it and tried to get it to come back when it would crawl off around the corner.
He calls it a “fide” 
We got most of our stuff moved this weekend. Me and Hunter got to drive around in the big U-Haul truck and had alot of fun. Spending the night at the new house was great. It was so nice and quite.
migraines are so aweful… i had to get new medicine again today. so far i have taken naratriptan (Amerge), zolmitriptan (Zomig), sumatriptan (Imitrex), and rizatriptan (Maxalt). the new one is eletriptan (Relpax). so far Maxalt worked occasionally and the Imitrex Statdose (shots) worked the best, but the doctor said they are trying to get people off of that… guess i will try the new stuff…
We went down to Canyon Lake yesterday for a picnic on my brother not-in-law’s land. We took the mountain bikes and went riding with the neice’s. Hunter had his tricycle, but still can’t quite reach the peddles.
I used my Dell discount to sign up for memebership at the Round Rock rec center yesterday. Pretty good deal, $75/yr. They have raquetball courts, pool, basketball courts, weight room, cardio room, and tennis courts. I haven’t worked out much since Hunter was born… so I’m really looking forward to it.
