Mother’s Day Activities – Markita, Hunter, and I went to Austin and had Flamingo sandwiches at Magnolia Cafe for lunch. Then we went over to the Texas State History Museum and perused all the exhibits before watching “Forces of Nature” in the IMAX theater. (Review: I was disappointed in the size of the IMAX screen, definately not as nice as the one at The Science Place in Dallas. The movie should have had more action than documentary, and was more suited to be watched from the couch on the Discovery Channel, but it did have tornados, so was worth it
). Then we had Pho and Taro milk with pearls for dinner (Hunter ended up helping us drink ours, he really liked it
), and then had a nice evening together at home.
