Cabela’s

I finally went to the new Cabela’s over in Buda. Very big store, with lots of neat outdoorsy stuff. They had a decked out 308 that made me drool. And a nice Piper Cub hanging from the ceiling (which I wouldn’t mind having either).

This has been an emotional week for me. Several things happening that have been hard to deal with. But things are looking brighter now. Next week I am going to take some vacation time. Spend some time with myself and some time with my family at the beach.

We went to a 40th wedding anniversary for a couple of our friend’s last night (Congratulations Willie & Merelyne!!). They had it at Club 21, over in Uhland (just up the road from here). Club 21 is the oldest continuously operated country dance hall in Texas. All the kids were invited, and Hunter had a great time at his first Honky Tonk, HA! He danced and danced. And really liked the Cotten-Eyed Joe & the Schottische (“stepped in what?” – hold Hunter’s ears…).
