externalizing

I have been moving a bunch of data out to external sources lately (all consuming, 43 whatever, delicious, etc). Also redundantly posting the feeds here. This makes it easier for you to access and allows me to play with the data more. All the while participating in the semantic web.

Links to my external data can be found on my sidebar (to the right), under “Profiles, Etc.” (and some of the buttons lower on the sidebar). Links to my local data (which I have not found a place to export yet), are listed under “Pages” (and some of the buttons).

While we are talking about the sidebar… weren’t we? anyway, here’s some more info about that, just in case you are new or whatever…

A description of what my page is about, in case anyone gets confused…
“Tag cloud” at the top with a list of my catagories. It is weighted by the most posts in that cat.
There are archive links and a calendar, which make it easier to navigate to past posts.
The Blogroll shows some of my friends webpages (may just export out to delicious, don’t know).
The Simpson’s quotes (makes me laugh = good thing)
Transform my page option, just a geeky thing to make my page unreadable to the masses (may take it over later).
“Recent Comments” shows the last 20 comments posted on my site.
Top commentors shows the people with the most comments here (provided they used the same persoanl info each time they commented).
Current weather from the San Marcos airport (good for getting ready to fly).
Current terror level with Aqua Teen Hunger Force (#1 in da hood g).
The flickr daily zeitgest shows little thumbnails of all my posted pictures.
Two maps of my location, one standard and one real picture.
My google ads, feel free to click :)
Some amazon stuff I like that you can check out as well.
Oh, the little number in the top left corner is the number of page loads (since I loaded the page load load counter ;) )
