i had my first MRI today. i have heard stories of it scaring people who are claustrophobic. But it really is that small! When they rolled me in, my arms were touching the sides and my face was about 2 inches from the top. It was very noisy, even with ear plugs, and the noise was very odd. And I had to lay in there for 30 minutes, and not move.
