orion whacks halley’s tail

The Orionids will peak this weekend.  It is believed that the meteors are composed of the dust of Halley’s Comet’s surface.  The meteors will be traveling at 42 mps, and at peak, there will be 20-25/hr. visible.

Where:  Between Betelgeuse & Mars (just behind Orion’s club)

When:  Peaks at 5:00am local time Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007
