Hunter is turning 5 tomorrow. We had his party Saturday and it was at a Fire Station. The kids had so much fun! The firefighters gave them a tour of the station and the trucks. They let them all get up in the brush truck and push the “woo-woo” buttons. They got to watch the tender truck drive back into the station with the lights and siren on. The firefighters put on their suits for them and showed them what they would look like if they came looking for them in a fire, and to not be afraid of them. Then the kids got to “find” one of them by pulling all the pieces of the fire suit off of him. And they got to try on the coat, hats, and masks. And they got to ask all sorts of questions about everything.
When everyone left, Hunter got his picture made with the firefighters. And then, they took him for a ride in one of the trucks! He loved that. It was the best birthday party ever, and will be hard to top.
I bought a new computer with some of my tax return money. This is the first time I ever bought a computer, instead of building one. It just seemed easier and cost effective. It is an Acer Aspire Prestige (M5100):

I have been playing a lot of sudoku lately. I never thought about it much till my Mom got a sudoku book for Christmas, and gave it to me. I’ve got the Astraware version on my Treo, and play it just about every night. I only play the diabolical puzzles, so they say that makes me diabolical, hmm, is that true? 
They run a website for their game at “Sudoku of the Day“. You can upload your scores to compare to others (mine are on there under Sarah), download new puzzle packs and get some tips.
I went out and bought Tony Hawk’s Underground for the PS2. I just love that game. Hunter really likes it too. We play all the time. The new playstation has a built-in network interface, so I can play online too. However, they have shut down the servers. But I found a new server that a fan put up. To get online with it, make the following changes to your setup (then look for munchicken and play with me :) ):

We finished the Simpson’s game (PS2) in about a week. How fun! A parody of so many things, such as, pretty much every computer game I have ever played. It was great, just couldn’t stop playing it.
Hunter also got a Fire Belly Toad for Christmas. All he wanted for Christmas was a frog. He named it “grape-eater” (no, it doesn’t eat grapes). It is living in a Backyard Safari 2-n-1 Habitat, and seems to like it.
